Coach Matt Harris
Coach Matt Harris is the founder of B3 Elite and the head 8U coach. He brings a strong passion for baseball and a commitment to developing both the skills and character of every player. A former college baseball player and high school coach, Coach Matt emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, and building confidence on and off the field.
He is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive, and competitive environment where athletes can grow and succeed. Guided by his Christian faith, Coach Matt values integrity, respect, and encouragement in all he does.
Outside of baseball, he is a devoted husband to his wife, Brittany, and a proud father to Brooks and Maddie. Coach Matt is excited to lead his team both on and off the field as he continues to grow the B3 Elite family.

Ryan Lawson
Leading the charge for our 7U squad, Ryan is a devoted husband to his wife Jessica, father to Lincoln, Lexington, and Lyric, and a passionate baseball coach who believes the game is one of the greatest tools for developing young athletes. With a deep love for Jesus and the game of baseball, Ryan is committed to helping players grow not only in their skills on the field, but also in their character, confidence, and faith.
Known for his energy, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with players and families, Ryan brings passion to every practice, game, and team gathering. Whether he's teaching fundamentals, encouraging athletes through adversity, celebrating big moments, or leading team devotions and prayer, he strives to use baseball as a platform to impact lives and point others toward Christ.
Ryan believes the lessons learned between the foul lines — hard work, discipline, humility, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership — prepare athletes for success far beyond the game. His mission is simple: to help the next generation become better players, stronger leaders, and faithful followers of Jesus while creating memories and relationships that last a lifetime.

7U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Will Shelton
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Will Shelton as a 7U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Will has been married to his wife Kristin for 21 years and they have three amazing kids: Kyndal, Rylee, and Parker. As a family they love going to the beach for vacation and trying new places to eat. When not spending time on the baseball diamond with Parker, Will enjoys woodworking, supporting his daughter Rylee on her high school volleyball path, and going to the movies with his oldest daughter Kyndal.
Will played and has been around baseball his entire life, starting with t-ball at Fern Creek and ending his career with two years at the University of Louisville. He takes pride in making the game as fun as possible while teaching the kids new skills, how to be competitive, and to be good teammates.
Will believes the values that sports teach youth continue on to make successful adults later in life. He has been an assistant coach for three years and looks forward to developing kids for the next level with the B3 Elite program.

10U HEAD COACH · 7U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Brad Frans
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Brad Frans as our 10U Head Coach and 7U Assistant Coach.
Brad is a devoted husband to his wife, Kelley, and a proud father of three children, Lainey, Tucker, and Sonny. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors through hunting, fishing, camping, and participating in a variety of sports. Their strong faith in Jesus Christ serves as the foundation of their family values, with faith and family always taking priority.
Coach Brad brings several years of experience coaching both travel and recreational baseball and softball. His coaching philosophy is built on the principles of teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, discipline, and the development of strong fundamentals. He believes that success is measured not only by wins and losses, but also by the growth of each player as an athlete and as a young man. His goal is to build meaningful relationships with his players, help develop disciplined individuals, and teach life lessons that extend far beyond the game of baseball.
Known for his energy, passion, and strong leadership presence, Coach Brad is committed to creating a positive and competitive environment where players can learn, develop, and thrive. He emphasizes the importance of hard work, preparation, and consistent effort, encouraging players to challenge themselves daily. Coach Brad is excited to lead B3 Elite and make a lasting impact on every player who wears the jersey. His mission is to help young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field by instilling character, discipline, confidence, and a commitment to excellence. Through baseball, he aims to prepare players not only for success in competition, but also for success in life.

8U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Kyele Kestler
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Kyele Kestler as an 8U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Coach Kyele has been around the game of baseball his entire life and has spent years coaching and developing young athletes. He brings a high-energy, vocal presence to the dugout and believes in teaching the game the right way — with accountability, effort, discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
He understands that growth often happens outside of the comfort zone. While he's not the quiet type on the field, he believes the best coaches aren't just cheerleaders — they're the ones willing to challenge players, hold them accountable, and help them become the best version of themselves.
His coaching style is built around preparing players to compete, grow, and reach their potential both on and off the field. He expects effort and focus, and in return is fully invested in helping athletes build confidence, resilience, and a true love for the game.
Coach Kyele is passionate about player development and creating a competitive environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and pushed to be their best.

Coach Chris Marks
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Chris Marks as an 8U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Chris is a devoted husband to his wife, Bri, and a proud dad to Camden and Cj. Family and faith are at the heart of everything he does, and that same passion carries over into his coaching philosophy.
For Chris, baseball is about much more than wins and losses. His goal is to help develop young players into good men both on and off the field. He believes every child is different and works hard to coach each player in a way that reaches them personally, helping them grow in confidence, character, and love for the game.
While Chris enjoys competition and teaching players how to compete at a high level, he also believes baseball should be fun. Creating an environment where players can learn, build relationships, make memories, and enjoy the game is one of his top priorities.

8U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Steve Pogue
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Steve Pogue as an 8U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Steve believes baseball should be fun, challenging, and something kids look forward to. He wants players to learn how to compete, how to win, how to lose, how to fail, and how to bounce back. Baseball has a way of teaching lessons that last a lifetime, but those lessons stick best when players love coming to the ballpark.
Steve is the kind of coach who wants players to play with confidence. When a kid steps on the field, instincts should start to take over. He believes it is a coach's job to prepare players for the situations they will face in the game, and if a player can own a mistake and still want the next ball hit to him, he is growing as a ballplayer and as a teammate.
Baseball is a big part of Steve's life. He coaches it, his kids play it, and he still plays it himself through vintage base ball (yes, two words!) with the Bluegrass Barons in Lexington. They play by 1860s rules, on a patch of grass, without gloves. It has given him a deeper appreciation for the game and shows his kids that baseball is something they can all enjoy together.
When Steve is not at a ballfield, he is usually spending time with his wife Ashley and their children, Henry and Emmy, or following Philadelphia sports a little too closely.
Steve is looking forward to spending time with this group of players and helping them grow both on and off the field.

Mat Turner
Mat is passionate about creating an organization where character, teamwork, accountability, and player development come first. While competition is an important part of the game, his priority is helping athletes grow physically, mentally, and emotionally in an environment that is both challenging and supportive. As a former college pitcher, Mat knows firsthand the dedication, discipline, and work ethic it takes to compete.
He believes that success isn't measured solely by the scoreboard. He emphasizes proper development, player health, leadership, and being a great teammate. His goal is to help every athlete reach their full potential while learning life lessons that extend far beyond the baseball field.
Mat strives to be a positive role model for the players he coaches. He pours his heart into mentoring young athletes and teaching them the importance of integrity, hard work, respect, and perseverance both on and off the field.
Outside of baseball, Mat along with his wife Molly have 2 kids, Braxton and Taylor. His family is the foundation of everything he does, and the same values he teaches at home are the values he brings to B3 Elite every day.
Committed to building more than a baseball organization with his longtime friend, he's helping build confident athletes, strong teammates, and future leaders.

9U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Justin Miracle
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Justin Miracle as a 9U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season. His coaching philosophy is pretty simple: "We're here to enjoy the process, embrace the grind, and make memories that last longer than the batting averages on GameChanger."
Of course, Coach Justin wants to win — nobody likes driving home after a loss — but he believes youth baseball is about much more than the scoreboard. Years from now, these kids won't remember a random weekend score. They'll remember the dugout jokes, the postgame dinners, the dirt stains that never came out of their pants, and their teammates becoming lifelong friends.
Under Coach Justin, the team will celebrate hustle, effort, and improvement. They'll cheer for hard-hit balls, even if they're right at someone, and they'll learn that failure is just baseball's way of keeping everyone humble. If you're looking for a coach who treats every game like Game 7 of the World Series, he's probably not your guy. If you're looking for a team that plays hard, laughs often, and values the journey as much as the destination, welcome aboard.
Because at this age, the real trophies are confidence, friendships, and the stories the kids will still be telling years from now. (The participation ribbons can stay in the garage.)

9U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Matt
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Matt as a 9U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Coach Matt brings several years of experience coaching youth athletes and has a strong background in pitching. Above all, he has a true love for the game of baseball.
His coaching philosophy centers on teamwork, positive attitudes, sportsmanship, and building strong fundamentals. He believes baseball should be challenging but also rewarding and fun. His goal is to help players develop their skills while maintaining their love for the game.
Coach Matt emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, and encouraging players to push beyond their comfort zones. He believes the best environment balances hard work with fun, allowing players to learn, compete, and build their confidence.
He is passionate about helping young athletes grow as players, teammates, and individuals, knowing the lessons learned through baseball extend far beyond the field. A big kid at heart, Coach Matt enjoys connecting with players, keeping practices engaging, and bringing plenty of energy and laughter to the team.
Beyond the ballfield, he's a proud dad of two boys and husband to his amazing wife, Meghan. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and cheering on the Louisville Cardinals and Boston Red Sox.
Coach Matt is excited for the season ahead and looks forward to helping every player learn, grow, compete, and most importantly, enjoy the game of baseball!

Coach Dustin Hobbs
We're excited to welcome Dustin Hobbs to the B3 Elite family as an assistant coach for our 9U squad! Dustin grew up playing baseball, basketball, and tennis, and he's bringing that lifelong love of the game to our boys this season.
Off the field, Dustin is a husband to his wife Lindsay and a proud dad to his son Bentley and daughter Alayna. Faith is at the center of the Hobbs family — Dustin also serves as a preacher and he's passionate about building young athletes up in character as much as in skill.

9U COACH
Coach Joey
Coach Joey brings more than 22 years of coaching experience to the team, working with athletes ranging from 5 to 18 years old. His coaching background includes youth baseball, multiple youth sports, and two years of high school baseball.
Joey has been married to his wife, Pam, for 16 years, and they have two sons, Jackson (15) and Cooper. As both a coach and a father, he understands the important role sports play in building confidence, character, and lifelong friendships.
Coach Joey's philosophy goes beyond wins and losses. His goal is for every player to leave the season not only as a better baseball player but also with a greater love and appreciation for the game. He believes in teaching fundamentals, encouraging hard work, building confidence, and creating an environment where players can compete, grow, and most importantly, have fun.
He is excited for the opportunity to help develop the next generation of players and looks forward to a great season with the team.

10U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Jonathan Ray
B3 Elite is excited to welcome Coach Jonathan Ray as a 10U Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Jonathan is a devoted husband to his wife, Madeline, and a proud father to Jon Dale. Family is at the center of everything he does, and that commitment carries over into the way he coaches and mentors young athletes.
With six years of coaching experience and a baseball background that spans from Little League through high school, Jonathan brings a passion for player development and a genuine love for the game. His favorite areas to teach include pitching, outfield play, and first base, helping players build strong fundamentals while building confidence and belief in themselves along the way.
Jonathan believes one of the most important parts of youth baseball is developing the right mentality. While wins and losses come and go, he wants players to learn resilience, accountability, and how to compete with confidence. His goal is to help every player develop a lifelong love for the game while creating an environment where kids can challenge themselves, support their teammates, and enjoy the journey.
Outside of baseball, Jonathan is a graphic designer, photographer, and content creator. Through his work, he enjoys capturing the moments that make youth sports special and telling stories that make young athletes feel bigger than life. Whether it's a game-winning hit, a big strikeout, or simply the excitement of putting on the uniform, he believes every player deserves to feel seen, valued, and proud of their accomplishments.
Jonathan is excited for the opportunity to try something different with B3 Elite and help build a program that develops players both on and off the field. More than anything, he hopes players and parents recognize how much he genuinely cares about the kids and the experience they have while playing the game.
